ANDThree years ago my colleague (Peter) and I decided to stay on my farm Nan and Pop's, which is located on the outskirts of Bathurst, NSW, about twenty minutes by car. The name of the farm is Clear Creek. Now there are quite a lot of ghost stories, considering that my distant relatives built farm house three hundred years ago. After hearing all these stories, we decided to examine ourselves.
Personally, I believe in the world of ghosts, but Peter did not do it. There was one special story about the paddock, which we call “corn paddock”. There were supposed to be about 100 Aborigines killed in the corn paddock on the day when the Aborigines were slaves of a white man. So we decided to camp in the paddock of corn.
About three hours after the fall of the sun we sat by the fire. We just started to balmy up when we heard someone or something moving in the bushes behind us. We decided to look what it was, but nothing was there. Then we retreated to our bonfire to tell about some stories that we heard. After about an hour we were almost ready to bed when we heard the same sound of movement behind us. This time we decided to ignore it, but my friend Peter decided an unknown reason to shout as loudly as he could “mock the ghosts!” After he said, I tried him and told him that ghosts are not something that should be pushed out. With this, the leisurely wind began to blow, which caused a thrill down my spine. The wind began to gather and become heavier. Thanks to this, we decided to cover in the tent we set up, we almost immediately heard the scream of women, which was quite disgusting and piercing. Then I and Peter decided not to tempt fate, but run home.
I have been a film creator since this event, so I and my crew are now shooting a DVD documentary and a local television station entitled “Ghosts of Clear Creek”.
