BBefore our family friends demolished the garage to build a house for my mother, sister, and I to move into, two of their children (my age) told me about the wooden boards on the ground containing the body of a murdered woman. Now, at 8 years ancient, I was terrified, but I quickly forgot about it.

After a year we moved into a cottage, my sister and I shared a bedroom while my mother was down the hall. The first night I couldn't sleep because I felt like someone was watching me. I turned to look down the hall, where I saw a black image of what I thought was a woman. I pulled the blanket over my head and couldn't sleep for the rest of the night.

The next day me and our friends youngest son decided to search under the house, everything was fine until I came across something familiar… The boards right under where I saw the figure the night before. I remember running out of the house quickly, tripping over my own feet, and running into my mother's room.

Every night that I lived in that house, I saw the same figure staring at me. After about 3 years things started to get really weird. One evening, when my mother and sister were around, I decided to stay home alone and watch TV. The storm started and I heard footsteps coming up the stairs to the front door (ranch sliding glass) then a flash of lightning revealed that there was no one there at all, terrified I ran past. After that night, things started to get weird and I started to hate living there.

When I was 14, my mother decided to find a house with her long-term boyfriend and I was so content to be moving, and then things started to get really scary… After spending the night with some friends, I came home to find my room completely trashed and things strewn everywhere. I met my little sister (11) thinking she did it but no one was home all day. After that night, everything started to change and our devices started going crazy all night long.

When we finally moved, I had never been happier. Now I have my own room, but I sleep alone downstairs, which can be scary, and there's a stream running through the house. I still dive directly under the blankets, but so far I haven't experienced any paranormal activity… But hey, I'm only 14.

Some people may believe this story, others may not… But I know what I experienced and since then I have strongly believed in the supernatural world.
