AND I heard this story from my Lola (grandmother) when I was only 14 years elderly. The story began when my Lola was in high school. It was after school when she met her 2 friends, Myrna and Xuchilt at the school gate, where they always meet to go home. She said that all three go to school every day. Everyone lived next to each other and has always been their routine when they were compact, as well as their way to keep safety. After all, we are stronger by numbers, right?
One day after school, when they returned home, my Lola looked down and noticed that her friend on the right, Xuchilt (my Lola was in the middle of two girls) saw that Xuchilt Shadow looked a bit from. She was still looking at myrna's shadow, her own shadow, and then back to the Shadow Xuchilt, but she can't believe how Xuchilt Shadow didn't have a head!
She quickly paid attention to both friends because they were too busy talking and did not notice the unusual event that took place. She said that Xuchilt did not behave as if she was afraid, but she was curious why her shadow had no head. So they tried to change and change positions several times, but no matter what they did, the Shadow Xuchilt is still without head!
When they reached their village, they saw that the shadow of Xuchilt returned normally, withdrew her head. She said that everyone parted and went home separately. But she doesn't know much that it would be her last time her friend Xuchilt is alive.
The next day, her friend Myrna knocked almost with anxiety screaming on the door of my Lola. When she opened, Mirna was hysterical and she cried. My Lola tried to composed her so that she could talk and tell her what happened. When Myrna was able to talk, she told my Lola that Xuchilt's parents found her on the bed. Initially, they thought she was just surprising, so after a few calling to Xuchilt, her mother decided to go to her room and wake her up. She said that as soon as my mother Xuchilt tried to touch her, to shake her, to wake up, she felt that Xuchilt's body was chilly. Then they realized that Xuchilt was dead.
To this day, they do not know what caused the sudden death of Xuchilt. She said that the doctor told her parents that it caused pneumonia, but nobody believes it because Xuchilt was fine before. She did not show any disease when they returned home that night. My Lola thinks that it was something bad that took her friends' life and gave them a sign or warning, taking the shade of Xuchilt's head.
