This mysterious story happened in Argentina, near the town of General Pico, in March 2006 with the participation of 31-year-old policeman Luis Sergio Pucheta with the rank of corporal.
Pucheta's routine modified barely that day as his companion asked him to cover a part of his jurisdiction on his break day. Cabo Pucheta began patrolling at 7:30 p.m., covering roughly 80 kilometers until reaching a location generally known as “El Cruce de las Cañas.”
There he noticed a wierd glow within the forest, initially pondering it was poachers. Stopping the vehicle, he removed his helmet and got off the motorcycle.
He walked around but didn't see or hear anything until just a few minutes later, when he was about to get back on his bike, two strange red lights appeared, immediately blinding and paralyzing him. The lights were about 50 meters away.
Even though he was 31 years old, physically fit and experienced, the situation surprised him. He had no time to attract his weapon or react. He could only move his arms; a wierd tingling sensation ran through his body.
Seconds later, he disarmed the radio, gun and mobile phone. He doesn't remember when or why he did it. Desperate, he called Marcelo Villegas, the one he was replacing on patrol, and said, “Come to Las Cañas, you know what's going on,” after which hung up.
Villegas reported the incident to the emergency telephone number 101, and inside 10 minutes the pinnacle of the Radioelectric Command arrived on site.
At the tip of an enormous sugar cane field, about half a mile away, they found an abandoned motorcycle. A dismantled radio and a gun were strewn a few bit further. Everything was there except Pucheta; it looked as if it would have disappeared.
Due to the weird nature of the case, a fringe was established to secure the world and all available units were called to look for the missing officer.
A gaggle of policemen began to march in Pucheta's footsteps. The distance between the prints began to extend – one meter, two, as much as seven meters. Pucheta later said he felt as if something grabbed him and pulled him up.
The entire police force, led by the chief, was searching for an officer who disappeared in strange circumstances.
At 2 a.m. it began raining and a robust storm hit the world, which complicated the whole lot, especially for the reason that wind had erased the footprints.
The next day, around 4 p.m., Pucheta appeared in a spot generally known as “El Triángulo”, about 30 km from where he was last seen. The landowner, Luis Alberto Barbero, found him sitting by the side of a mud road, dressed as he was when he disappeared, along with his face buried in his arms.
Barbero tried to speak, but Pucheta didn't answer or say a word. When he showed no response, Barbero called 911 on his mobile phone.
A number of minutes later, all units in the world, an ambulance and various media arrived. Pucheta remembered something in his head that told him, “If you stay here, we'll come back for you.”
Gradually, the young officer regained self-control. Once he was in a position to stand on his own, he hugged his superior, Inspector Commissioner Roberto Ayala, and burst into inconsolable tears.
Upon reaching the medical center, he was found to have burns on his feet with blisters and small dots in between, which lasted for a while. Pucheta insisted that he be taken to a dark room because the sunshine caused him severe pain. This photosensitivity or photophobia lasted for a while.
Previously, Pucheta had at all times had impeccable behavior and had no mental problems. It turned out that just a few days before his disappearance, he had reported seeing strange lights within the sky in the identical area.
Pucheta eventually got here to the conclusion that he had been abducted by the aliens he had seen, and that while in captivity he had experienced some terrible traumatic experience that affected his psyche, but which he could never remember.
But he remembered something: “I felt like I was in my mother's belly, and then I started remembering things from my childhood. It was like my life was in slow motion, I don't know how long it lasted.
Many strange things were discovered during the investigation. Firstly, during the 18 hours that they were looking for him, Pucheta did not eat or drink anything, which was confirmed in the hospital.
But for some reason his body showed no signs of dehydration. Another strange thing was the rain. When Puchetta was found, his clothes were completely dry and not even dirty, but two hours earlier there had been heavy rain in the area.
According to information published by a local newspaper, the policeman presented a strange version of events. He assured that he was contacted by two beings of short stature, with red eyes, who gave him commands without addressing him. He indicated that he tried to run away from strangers, but he could not explain how he got to the place where he was found.
“They were small, their eyes were red,” described the 28-year-old corporal.
An investigation and dismissal from service followed. In May 2013, by resolution No. 383, Pucheta was forced into retirement because he was unable to return to work attributable to the trauma brought on by this experience. Pucheta's disappearance stays a mystery. Everything indicates that it might have been a kidnapping, a subject widely discussed world wide.
Pucheta describes blurry images from that night by which he saw the sphere from above, felt as if he was on board something (probably a ship), and witnessed the whole lot brighten as he passed by. He remembers feeling intense heat when he lowered his feet, which explains the reason behind the burns found on his feet.
He assures that he never desires to undergo the identical thing again and continues to avoid going to Las Cañas. Referring to the incident, he recalls that he was afraid of returning to the identical place and experienced the same situation.
