Shadowy shadows

Shadowy shadows

Tthis is my first time writing something like this, so don't make fun of me or anything, but here it is: About two years ago I lived in my grandmother's house for a while and it always kind of scared me because it was over 100 years venerable, it was really gigantic and terrifying. Well, one day I was taking a shower and I casually glanced at the door. As I did so, a shadowy, black silhouette of a adolescent girl emerged through the doorway, hovering about a foot above the ground. Then he disappeared as he reached the clear shower curtain. I was terrified! So I rinsed my hair and he was gone! I told my mom and family and they kind of laughed at my story, but they understood because I was scared.

The next evening I sat in the dining room and kept thinking about what had happened. I was looking at my reflection in the sliding glass door when the shadowy figure of a man walked in front of me. I didn't actually see it, but I saw it in the reflection. Naturally, I got up to run. Without thinking, I ran in the direction he was coming. I must have gone through this or something, because for a split second I felt a deep, chilling feeling run through my body. Almost like I was feeling the pain of the spirit. I told my mom again what happened and she replied that they were trying to contact me for some reason. Do you think he's right or was it something else? Please tell me what you think, because ever since it happened, I haven't been able to forget about it.
