HThese are the random little spooky events that have been happening in my current apartment.
The first ghost experience I had there was waking up one night to find a full-sized horse standing by my bed! (An unusual sight in my small apartment!) I shouted, “What is that?” and then he noticed that on the horse was a cowboy dressed in conventional “Old West” clothing. He tipped his hat to me, kicked the horse lightly with his spurs, and the horse marched through the wall.
I now live on the second floor and the wall the horse went through was an exterior wall. That's why people always ask me, “Well, didn't the horse fall while he was outside?” Hi! It's a ghost! If it can go through a wall, do you think a little thing like *gravity* would be a problem? 🙂
Another time I woke up and saw a guy standing at the foot of my bed. He was wearing a obscure blue plaid shirt and khaki pants. He was about 50 years venerable and a little chubby. He didn't seem unsafe at all. When he realized I saw him, he just disappeared.
Another time, when I was trying to sleep, I noticed a lump under the covers that was slowly moving from the edge of the bed towards me. I assumed one of my cats had crawled under there and was coming towards me, so I reached out to pet him on the covers, saying, “Oh, what a sweet kitty!” However, as soon as I put my hand on the animal, the “lump” disappeared – there was nothing there! It completely freaked me out – as it was quite a immense “lump” – definitely the size of a cat.
In my bedroom I have a huge window that takes up at least half of the wall. Living in the middle of the city, this window always lets in a lot of ambient featherlight, not to mention the very vivid security featherlight my neighbors always have on.
Anyway, one night, as I was turning off the featherlight to go to sleep, I was suddenly plunged into complete darkness. For example – have you ever been deep in a cave where no featherlight reaches? A kind of darkness that is total, complete and… menacing!
So I immediately turned the featherlight back on and looked out the window to see if maybe the city had turned off the power or something, but no, all the lights in my city were still on and shining through my window.
So I turn off the featherlight again and… complete, evil darkness again! Almost like being thrown into another dimension! So the featherlight immediately came back on and stayed on for the rest of the night!
Another time I woke up just in time to see this furry creature running at me, carrying a club over its head as if it was going to hit me with it! I screamed and the creature stopped and was suddenly thrown back, becoming smaller and smaller until it disappeared.
Most of these things happened at night, so skeptics might say, “Oh, you were tired, so you imagined it,” etc. But…
Several times a day in my living room I see a miniature cloud of little lights swirling around the ceiling for a few minutes. Since I'm usually engrossed in my TV show, my cats are usually the first to notice them. They will all run right under the cloud, stand on their hind legs and stretch their paws towards the lights, chattering like cats do when they are excited.
Then, as suddenly as they appeared, they disappeared. And the cats go back to their business… sleeping and destroying everything I own! Oh well….
