I searched and searched and searched for any reasonable answer about what was going on in my apartment and with my 4 year vintage, Gigi. When Gigi was about 2 years vintage, there was an incident where Gigi ran out of the downstairs bathroom shaking, with tears in her eyes and her voice was shaking too. She kept saying the name “Ralph”. Honestly, she scared the hell out of me and I didn't know what to do except to prove to her that there was nothing in the bathroom.
About 2 or 3 months later I had a strange incident where the Airwick air freshener with the motion sensor was on the wall. You can set a timer on these and I set it for 36 minutes so every 36 minutes it would release a petite burst of air freshener. One morning at around 5am I heard a noisy bang and ran downstairs to find the air freshener in the middle of the kitchen floor. I flicked it off thinking it might have just fallen off even though it was in the hallway next to the kitchen.
Another 5 months pass and my daughter has the same reaction to “Ralph” but this time in her bedroom. She ran out of the room with swollen and watery eyes, shaking and still babbling about someone named Ralph.
At this point I don't know what to think because it's been months since the first incident and she hasn't mentioned Ralph once. That's when I started recording candid videos of Gigi talking about Ralph.
At first, Gigi didn't mention Ralph if you asked her about him directly. As for Gigi, he doesn't exist, but maybe a week later she'll tell her 5-year-old sister about Ralph. She didn't talk to me about Ralph for a long time.
As Gigi started to open up a little more about Ralph, she started to give more information. Remember, Gigi was 2 when this happened and she's 4 now. I think she's more open to talking about it because she can explain more details. Well, I've only asked Gigi about Ralph twice.
Gigi told a disturbing story about a man and his entire family who were murdered. She kept making a “finish him off” motion with her thumb in the neck, like someone was slitting someone’s throat, specifically with scissors. (This is a 4-year-old girl who plays with nail polish and Barbies.) Her stories were pretty graphic.
3 weeks ago my mom also saw a video of Gigi telling a very graphic story. She told me that I should ask the apartment manager if anyone had died in my apartment before. After some debate I went there. I really didn't want to live in an apartment where someone had died and if so I really didn't want to know but I had to know what was happening to my daughter. I only asked to get “paranormal” off my list of problems with my child.
Well I told the apartment manager what was going on and lo and behold Ralph moved out 20 days before I moved in. Now this is either a crazy coincidence or Ralph is a ghost but she and I were totally freaked out by this. She informed me that he did not die in the apartment, in fact no one has ever died in my apartment. There is no one in our family named Ralph, I watch all of her TV shows, no one is named Ralph, and even though the name Ralph is plain, it is a very uncommon name, especially for a 2 year vintage.
It doesn't end there, because on Friday night (January 27, 2012) I was in the shower washing conditioner out of my hair. Like most people, I have a shower shelf and on it was my Mach 3 (men's) razor. The razor was also in the holder, not to mention that these are disposable razor heads. To remove the razor from the holder, you have to press the release button. The next thing I hear is a huge bang. The entire razor was no longer in the holder or the holder. The razor was on the second level of the holder and the holder was completely out of the shower and lying next to the bathroom door.
Something is definitely happening in my house and I am terrified. I don't want Ralph or anything like that in my house anymore. I'm sorry but I don't enjoy ghosts so any encounter with a ghost is terrifying to me. Has this happened to anyone else?
A few more things, when I asked Gigi about Ralph, she said he was a lofty white man with a “grandpa voice.” She said he was dead and that he lived in heaven, yet he slept in our bathroom.
If anyone can give me good advice, or has had similar experiences, please let me know.
