After the death of a faithful worker at his station, Subhash's ghost is claimed to haunt his former workplace at Ludhiana Railway Station.

Ludhiana Railway Station (लुधियाना जंक्शन रेलवे स्टेशन) is a station in Ludhiana district within the northern Indian state of Punjab. It is thought for being one in every of the busiest stations in Punjab and maybe the cleanest in India. It is an old station from 1864 with 7 platforms. It can be referred to as probably the most haunted train stations within the country.

Today, the booking counter at Ludhiana Railway Station where tickets are booked has modified and train tickets may be booked at many places on account of notoriously long queues.

Legend has it that Subhash, a former Computer Reservation System (CRS) officer, met his premature death on this very room and is claimed to haunt the Ludhiana railway station.

Subhash was known for his unwavering dedication to his job on the ticket counter and was said to have loved his job with a passion that seems to proceed even after death. According to most sources, it’s believed that his soul became attached to the Reservation Center long after his death in 2004.

Haunted Ludhiana Railway Station

Rumors of Subhash's ghostly presence have circulated amongst employees for years, with those that worked there reporting sudden drops in temperature, flickering lights and an amazing sense of being watched by unseen eyes.

People attempting to book tickets were also duped by seeing what gave the impression to be a human shadow on the ticket office, despite the fact that nobody was there.

But perhaps probably the most terrifying aspect of Subhash's haunting is the alleged curse that falls on anyone who dares to sit down in the identical chair he once worked on. According to local tradition, those that tried to occupy Subhash's former abode met with a series of misfortunes and failures, and their lives were plagued with difficulties and problems.

Despite attempts to clear the room of its ghostly inhabitant, Subhash's ghost stays a fixture on the Booking Center, his presence a reminder of the hazards lurking within the shadows of the mundane. For those that dare to enter the haunted borders, the Reservation Center offers a glimpse right into a world where the lines between the living and the dead are blurred and the past refuses to be forgotten.
