Moving with shadows

Moving with shadows

ANDit all started when I was very little. I've moved around a lot since I was a child. When my family moved to Saudi Arabia, the nightmare began. It started when I snuck into my sister's room while she was having a slumber party. She told ghost stories and joked. She told so many stories that I can barely list them all. A few days later I felt a breeze in my room. Then a obscure shadow appeared in the corner of his eye. Every time I looked to see what it was, nothing ever seemed right. But deep down I knew there was something there… Watching me. So we moved from house to house.

Now we lived on this island and had a pretty house. I hadn't felt that nippy breeze for a long time, alone in my room, and I forgot about it until that night. I felt the wind at my back, it gave me a chill, and then there it was, a obscure figure that appeared in the corner of my eye. I decided not to pay attention to it. Then came the age when I was still newborn, but I was allowed to stay home alone. I was watching TV quietly when the TV turned off. I got scared easily and didn't try to turn it back on. Out of nowhere, there was a whisper that clearly called my name… In a snail-paced but crackling voice. I ran all over the house, but there was nothing there. I decided to ignore it again.

Even now that we've moved again, I hear that voice and see that shadow. Every time I get a little more scared. This has been going on for ten years and I just can't explain it. People I know think I'm crazy, at least the few I've had the courage to talk to, I've remained still until now. Although I still don't know what's been bothering me for so long.
