Grandma's Promise and the Ghost Girl

Grandma's Promise and the Ghost Girl

INWhen I was 16, my grandmother became seriously ill, she was 95, so I dropped out of college to take care of her. My parents died when I was very adolescent, I don't remember them, it was always me, my brother and my grandmother. One night, sitting overdue in the hospital talking, I told her that I was afraid if she died because I would be alone. She was my best friend, she held my hand, and we promised each other that whoever died first would come back to let the other person know that everything was okay. Two months later my grandmother died.

After a few months, I finally gave up on Grandma constantly coming back to comfort me. My brother's friend was at home with us and he had just bought a up-to-date cell phone. Not knowing how to do it, she handed it straight to me to prepare it for her. While I was digging through the menu, someone called… I recognized the number and answered… Nothing, just silence. I was hanging up. It took me a few seconds to realize that the phone shouldn't have been ringing. Nobody had the number, I just took it out of the box. It started ringing again… The number was 01232 721784, my grandmother's number.

Her phone was disconnected weeks before her death. I believe it was my grandmother who fulfilled her promise.

A few months ago I watched a program about haunted hotels, there was a story about a little girl whose mother abandoned her in a hotel in the early 20th century. A little girl drowned in a stream in front of the hotel, and her ghost appeared to women staying at the hotel. People who saw her said she called them mom. That night and for the next few weeks I dreamed about that little girl. She screamed at me, called me mom, but I couldn't reach her. A few weeks later I got ailing and went to the doctor, he told me I was pregnant. I have a condition that supposedly prevents me from having children. As I write this, I'm 5 months pregnant and my baby and I are feeling great… Although my doctor is amazed.

I just wanted to share them with you all.
