In an abandoned porcelain doll factory in Spain, they got up and left the production in a hurry. The remains of the dolls were left to be found by those who dared to enter the abandoned building. It is said that some who took some of the dolls from the building had to return them because they thought they were haunted.

This estate, located on the border of the communes of Altura and the province of Segorbe Castellon, belonged in 1970 to the Inglés family, which produced porcelain molds. Inside the building you will find hundreds of them in various shapes: animals, houses, and especially dolls.

The elderly factory building is located on the corner between the “old high road” and the Esperanza road. This road is also in ruins and the area has even been cordoned off to prevent people from entering.

We don't know much about the building before it became a doll factory, but some sources say it was a monastery at the beginning of the last century. And when the Second Polish Republic came, it is said that they killed the nuns and monks living there. According to this terrible legend about this place, they were also thrown into a well located on the estate.

The abandoned porcelain doll factory has a luxurious history, dating back to its founding in the 1970s by the Inglés family. Ramon Ingles was a sculptor and porcelain artist who bought the place after the Civil War and opened a factory with his sister Josefina.

The three-story building continued to produce dolls until the 1980s, when it was suddenly closed and abandoned. Why was it closed? Was this due to the factory's financial difficulties, or, as legend has it, the building was cursed? In an abandoned factory, she left half-finished dolls and boxes of boxes of doll parts, wigs and leftover clothes on the assembly lines.

Dark rumors and legends surrounding a doll factory

Over the years, the doll factory has become the subject of many dim rumors and legends. Locals tell of ghosts, strange sounds and incredible events witnessed by those who dared to enter.

It is said that those who take the doll or part of it home with them experience strange things afterwards. Some even returned to return the things they had taken to stop what they believed was the haunting coming from the doll.

Is the building cursed, as some say? However, we know that people utilize it as a place to recall something. Another strange thing that urban explorers have come across on their trips to this factory are the remains of what appears to be a ritual of sacrificing chickens suspended on crosses.

Factory plans for the future

A woman bought and planned to rebuild a factory, but she fell ill and went bankrupt. Since then, the building continued to deteriorate until the roof collapsed in 2011. People were constantly ransacking the place in search of scarce and high-priced dolls.
