Sounds in the attic

Sounds in the attic

AND A few years ago, a friend rented an apartment in an aged house. A year after moving in, he started hearing footsteps in the attic. He told us about it and we laughed and I said he was paranoid and that he was just hallucinating it. So one Friday night when we were watching movies at his place, we heard those noises too. We definitely heard footsteps, as if someone was slowly walking back and forth. You could even hear “steps” moving around the attic. So we stopped the video and listened carefully. The noises stopped and we watched the rest of the movie.

Then we sat down and talked about what the noises might have been, and while we were talking about it, the “footsteps” reappeared. We got scared but decided we should check it out. Armed with frying pans and knives from the kitchen, we headed towards the attic. The stairs to the attic were located in the corridor, because all tenants of the building had access to it. The door to the stairs had a weighty padlock and a regular door lock. We opened the door and crept upstairs. We turned on the delicate and there was no one there. The attic was empty except for an aged sofa and a few mattresses, so there was really nowhere to hide. Scared as hell, we turned off the delicate and closed the place.

We heard the noises later but never really did anything about it, we just accepted it as it was and it was nice to have our own “ghost buddy” though.
