I was eleven years senior and the last one to finish dinner, so I ate alone in the dining room. While I was eating, my mother, stepfather and brother were talking in the kitchen.

Let me just say that there is no door separating the dining room from the kitchen, so I could see them and they could see me.

When I finished and stood up, I started to walk to the kitchen when I saw a very dazzling featherlight coming down from the roof and seeming to creep across the floor, down the hall, and into my bedroom. When I saw it fall, I froze and screamed because it shocked me so much. I almost dropped the plate!

My whole family looked at me strangely, but when I explained it to them, only my brother believed me, because my mother and stepfather do not believe in paranormal phenomena, but he does.

However, I forgot all about it and later that night I went to my room to go to sleep. I usually take a while to fall asleep, so I was lying in bed with my eyes closed when I heard the door open. I thought it was my mom just wishing me good night so I opened my eyes, but when I did I saw the same dazzling featherlight coming from my door. Then the door closed again and I was so terrified that I spent the night with the TV on, the lights on, the lamp on and a tennis racket next to me in bed.

I can't explain what I saw, but I know it wasn't a bug or a spider or anything because it was featherlight!

That's what my mother and stepfather said – it was just a mistake or a trick my eyes played on me.

I have always believed in the paranormal since I was a little girl and now I am 13 years senior. I've had other paranormal experiences, but this one definitely scared me the most.
