AND several events happened to me that I cannot explain. But there's something I'll never explain. It was a hot summer day and I was sitting in my room minding my own business. My parents were at work and asked me to keep an eye on everything in the yard, and I agreed to keep an eye on everything. My oldest brother was watching TV, I was just reading a story on the computer, and soon I felt like someone had pulled my chair back. I almost fell out of it. Fortunately, I didn't do that. I looked around my room to see if anyone was there, but there was no one. No one could have been in my room unless they walked past me because my door is next to the computer and my brother was in the living room watching TV but no one else was in my room.

I continued reading and felt my hair being pulled. It hurt and I screamed. It takes a lot to make me start screaming. I looked around and there was no one there. I looked out the window and saw some goats. They weren't allowed in the yard, so I told my brother, but I didn't tell him what happened because I knew he, of all people, wouldn't believe his 14-year-old sister. He went and started shooting at them and they left. I always felt a strange but safe and sound presence in my room… I guess I'll never know.
