The scientist based his forecast on dates from biblical history.

Isaac Newton, English mathematician, physicist and astronomer – one of the most influential scientists of all time, known for formulating movement rights and universal gravity – also predicted the date of the end of the world. According to its calculations, it will take place in 2060.

This date was discovered On a piece of paper next to a series of mathematical calculations written about 300 years ago.

Newton justified his forecast in the Protestant interpretation of the Bible. He believed in the history of the Apocalypse, as described in the final book of the New Testament.

The Holy Bible states that the battle between the forces of good and evil means the end of the world and the dawn of a modern era.

To come to the application, Newton conducted mathematical calculations based on dates from biblical history.

He specified that the Apocalypse took place 1260 years after the founding of the Holy Roman Empire. Using the 800 AD, the year in which the Karmagne was crowned, as a starting point, he added 1260 years to reach 2060:

Prop. [sic] he did not start[f]Ter destruction of the temple of Jerusalem and Ye by Romans A.[D.] 70.3 Time and a half time did not start before 800 in the WK Supremacy Popes 4 did not start after again[ig]Ne z Gregory 7 .. 10845 1290 days did not start B[e]Before the year 842.6 they did not start after the reign of Pope Greg. 7th. 10847 difference [sic] There are parts of seven weeks between 1290 and 1335 days.

That is why 2300 years aged do not end before 2132 or after 2370.[o]t The end before 2060 [2344] 1290 days not [end] Before 2090 or later [2374].

In the Book of Daniel and Revelation, he used numbered days 1260, 1290 and 2300, which mark the end and the beginning of some critical moments in the Apocalypse. However, he interpreted in today's years.

Studying history, he settled at 800AD, when the abandonment of the church began formally – in the year in which the Holy Roman Empire was established. Then he calculated that the world would reset 1260 years after its foundation.

He predicted that the end was marked with plagues and war, as he wrote in a letter from 1704: “And the days of short -term beasts for years live [sic] Kingdom, a period of 1260 days, if dated from the full conquest of the Three Kings AC 800, ends with AC 2060 “.

Sir Isaac shot his prophecy: “It may end later, but I see no reason to end earlier.

“I mention not to claim when it will be time, but to put an end to the rash of fancy guessing people who often anticipate the end time, and thanks to this holy prophecies discredit so often as their forecasts fall. “

Experts also pointed out that for Newton, “it was not impossible to overcome the barrier between religion and what we now call science.” He was not a scientist in the modern sense, but rather a “natural philosopher”.
