Not really because the OBE (or Robert A Monroe OOBE) is when the spiritual tethered cord is still connected but when there is a near death experience – then the tethered cord breaks and can only be mended on placed back together by an outside force.

A near death experience can usually become a Total Death experience which you would not come back to this LIFE at all – If the Tethered Cord was not reconnected.
