Ghosts are real

Ghosts are real

ANDIt was a hot summer night in mid-July, and my cousin and I were cuddled in bed together. Outside, crickets sang; I saw lightning flashing in the air as I lay there silently, staring out the window into the darkness. Suddenly, as I was absorbing the silence, I heard footsteps in the attic. These footsteps were terrifying and sounded mysterious as I silently watched each step. Gradually the walking stopped and I fell asleep.

The next morning, while my cousin and I were playing with dolls, I told her about the footsteps in the attic and she replied that she had heard them before, but she always tried to fall asleep before they appeared. So we decided that we would not fall asleep that night and we would both watch who or what was walking around the attic slow at night. A few hours before dawn, this night became a night we will remember for many years.

Giggling softly under the sheets, we watched and waited for footsteps to appear. Finally, around 2 a.m., creepy feet began slowly walking around the attic. I pinched her and she hugged her back as we lay lifeless and listened to the footsteps that came closer to us and then stopped above our heads. I looked through the cover but couldn't see anything. My cousin saw the figure of an elderly man standing at the window, she told me when we got up early the next morning.

Whether some people believe it or not, it is known that ghosts exist, and ghosts may even be all around us. Many people do not believe in ghosts because they have never encountered them, but there are many others who have witnessed such events and know that they really exist or have existed at some point.
