Ghost in the forest?

Ghost in the forest?

Tthis all happened last summer (August), here in Cardiff, UK. At around 7pm my friend and I decided to go to the forest in Heath Park as we were very bored that day and I believe it was one of the hottest days in British history so we were very balmy and sorrowful.

Entry We hiked through the forest until we came to a huge tree, we sat by the tree for almost an hour cooling off, it was also next to a immense pond. Around 9pm we realized it was almost shadowy so we decided to head home. We had about a 15 minute walk to the exit of the forest and nothing strange happened until I noticed a figure about 200 meters away from where we had just come from. I thought it was weird, but didn't think anything else about it. About 4 or 5 minutes later I looked back and saw the figure again, but this time it was closer. I thought it was strange because when we were under the tree there were no people around us, so I decided to tell my friend. Josh thought I was teasing him and didn't believe me at all, which made me frustrated.

Big pond About 3-4 minutes later I looked to the side again and the figure was about 50 meters away from me, but among all the nettles and bushes. At this point I got really scared because we weren't even halfway through the journey and it was almost shadowy. I told Josh to look around and quicken his walking pace. A few minutes later Josh saw a figure on the other side of us and we both got really scared so we ran away. As we entered the open field that would lead us to the road, we ran onto it about halfway, looked back and both saw a figure standing at the edge of the forest. We ran all the way home.

Tree The character we saw was very strange because every time I saw him he was completely still. We couldn't make out the creature's face or gender, it was simply wearing what appeared to be a blue cloak. I've been back to that spot a few times since that day and nothing weird has happened, but neither Josh nor I will be going back there at dusk.

If you have any questions please message me, thank you.
