The source of this eerie sound was their father's walking stick, which had mysteriously disappeared at the foot of their bed.
Family members set out at midnight to look for the missing walking stick. To their surprise, they were greeted by an unexpected and clamorous voice coming from the basement. Guests reported that sheets had been mysteriously removed from their beds, and one youthful man reported a terrifying vision of a naked elderly man with peculiar features.
However, when the family tried to convince the priest to throw him out of the house, Corney remained still. But after the priest left, he came back and continued his usual haunting antics. He just jumped out of the cabinet and shouted, “Haha, here I am, I'm not limited to just one place in the house.”
Corney's departure
The beleaguered family decided it was time to move, but selling the lease proved tough. Corney's talkative nature meant that potential buyers never passed the kitchen, and he scared them away. The desperate family tried to reach an agreement with Corney. The creature seemed to have a cushioned spot for the lady of the house, who eventually convinced Corney to settle down.
Eventually, Corney said everything would be fine because he saw a woman dressed in black come to the house and make some purchases. And what he said happened.
