It was behind schedule evening and I was sitting in my living room watching TV. It was really still and everyone was sleeping. Suddenly I heard a knock on the door. It was strange because it was almost midnight. I stood up and went to the door, thinking it might be an emergency. When I opened the door, there were two children standing there. They looked to be about twelve years aged. They wore old-fashioned clothes, like from the aged days. However, they didn't look good. Their eyes were all black, no white at all. This gave me chills. One of them spoke, his voice flat and strange. “Can we come in? We need to use your phone, he said. I felt a chill run down my spine. Something deep in my heart told me not to let them in. “Why do you need a phone?” I asked. The other kid looked at me with those terrifying black eyes and said, “It's urgent. Please let us in.” I started to get really scared. My heart was beating brisk and I knew something was wrong. “No, I can't let you in. “Go away,” I said, trying to sound clamorous
