My Dad has a friend and I think his friend's daughter can see ghosts. Here are some things that happened to her. He is seven years vintage and has autism. She will also be deaf, but for now she can hear quite well, but over time, doctors say she will become completely deaf.
If you read my water heater story, you know that I think there is a ghost living in my dad's house. I was at his house once with her and her mom. Her mom, my dad and I talked while she played with her dolls. Then she got up and stood in front of the door to the computer room. She usually signs instead of talking because that's what she's used to at school. Eventually we noticed she was signing “please note” to an empty room. I'm not fluent in sign language, but her mom said she talked to two or three people and told each of them to “pay attention,” and when they didn't, she got mad. We asked her, “Who are you talking to?” and she just looked at us. Then we asked, “What are their names?” and she replied, “I don't know.”
Another thing that happened to her was this;
She was staying at the nanny's house and everything was fine, until suddenly she got scared and started crying. The caregiver called her mother and said it would be best if she picked her up and took her home. When her mother took her home, she asked what happened, but she wouldn't tell her. She didn't speak at all for about a week. When she finally started talking, she told her mother that while she was at the caregiver's house, she saw a man and his son standing near the staircase and they scared her.
I have to tell you one more thing that happened to this girl's sister;
When she was 3 years vintage, she didn't want to sleep in her own room. Her mother finally talked her into going there and tucked her in. Mom noticed that she was looking into space. She asked, “What are you looking at?” and the 3-year-old replied, “The lady behind you.” Later, my mother found out that the lady who previously owned the house had died there. I've never been to her house, but there are plenty of people who know her and who won't go back after visiting her several times.
