MMy name is Jack and I'm nineteen. I first had one of my dreams about a year ago. I don't remember exactly what happened, but I know I couldn't move and there was a disorienting, constant buzzing sound along the edge of my bed that I couldn't turn to look at because I couldn't move, I was struggling, I was petrified, I thought I was dying. After the first one, I didn't tell anyone because I thought there was some demon coming to threaten me, or was it just sleep paralysis?
After that experience I didn't want it to ever happen again… But it happened over and over again, about two or three times a month. About the seventh time I started recording what was happening during these dreams, I still didn't like them, but I was curious and intrigued because I didn't understand, so here are some of my recordings:
Somehow I fall asleep in bed, I slowly feel my body and brain begin to vibrate in concentration, like a mad swarm of bees in my head and mouth, at this point I am paralyzed. This is how it usually starts. One time I was in this state, lying on my back, my eyes could move but my body could not. I desperately tried to move while to the left of me, from under the bed, an extremely thunderous buzzing sound came from under my head, under the bed, it started moving towards the end of the bed, still out of sight, I got very scared, it finally reached the foot of my bed when it stopped and got louder. I thought it would crawl under my feet like one of those suspicious horror movies, when it stopped, there was silence for a few moments, and then suddenly a black shadow in the shape of a man, a ninja-type creature, jumped down from the foot of my bed and sat on an unseen shelf on top of my seal. I waited for him to lunge at me or see his red eyes glow, but he didn't. At that moment I thought I would fight while I still had time.
The buzzing sound returned from the figure as I tried to roll over to my left side to type, eventually the strangest thing happened: I rolled off the bed onto my left side, only to hit the floor and bounce right back into the bed. Confused, I continued to struggle, rolling to the right, I started rolling through the wall down a spiral slope, there were vivid colors, it was like one of those portals to another dimension or a time zone tunnel, it was tilted at a 45 degree angle and I kept rolling south. I thought I was going to fall straight into hell, so with a huge surge of power and a scream I tore myself free, trying to sit up, it felt like an unseen force was pulling me back. I saw that my eyes were still closed because the situation was still the same.
I finally opened my eyes and woke up fully. I turned around and sat on the edge of the bed with my head in my hands, wondering what the hell had just happened. I also wondered if I had woken anyone else up with my apparent scream, when I decided to go back to sleep I felt it start over again, I quickly opened my eyes to stop it from manifesting. I went to the toilet to fully wake up. It worked and I was cautious about going back to sleep, but it happened.
Since this ordeal I have had many different cases of sleep paralysis, countless episodes of strange imaginary situations that seemed to be happening in real life, in fact I had one last night but now I'm just letting it manifest and see what happens. It's usually a great experience when you just let it be.
Yesterday was brilliant, the creepy intro was as amazing as ever, and the highlight was even better. I was levitating in the air under the influence of a strange force, still wearing the blanket. I thought I was going to be thrown against the ceiling, but I didn't fight back and was suspended at least six feet above the bed in a horizontal position. I was slowly shot down to the right above the floor. I could have been dropped, but instead I was lowered to the floor, where I was left for a moment and then went back to bed just as it had started, overwhelmed by the experience. I tried to wake up and I managed. Again, sometimes it is sometimes complex to fully free myself from the clutches of what surrounds me, but if I trust, I think you can experience the strangest experiences.
I feel that when it manifests, sleep paralysis is an out of this world force that helps you have these wonderful experiences out of your body, or maybe in your body. Maybe there is a part of our brain at work that we have no idea about, apparently we only utilize a petite part of our brain, whatever the explanation, I don't know…
