MY boy Eddie had a best friend named Jeffrey. They have been friends for over 20 years. I met Jeffrey about 6 months after Eddie and gathered. They were almost inseparable. Jeffrey was always in our home, spending the night and helping Eddie at home with repairs and the like. Jeffrey had a problem with drugs and was often depressed. We told him to stay with us the same as he wanted to keep him away from drugs, but Jeffrey would finally like to go home. Drug dealers lived across the street from him and always gave in to temptation when he was at home. One week Jeff depressed very much because his grandfather died, and Jeff began to drink and drugs, and when he did this, he always had a penniless attitude. He thought Eddie was enraged with him, and that depressed him even more. His grandfather died on the night, Jeffrey called us and asked if we had a few dresses that he could have. Then he asked in a crying voice why Eddie was enraged with him and I assured him that he did not.
Later that night, around midnight, the phone rang again, the connection came from Jeff's house. I answered, thinking he was Jeffrey. It wasn't Jeffrey, it was his aunt. She told me that she had bad news, Jeffrey was hanging in the yard of his Blant, he was dead at the age of 34. Eddie's best friend disappeared.
The previous night, around midnight, we were to visit the funeral home, and in the window of the living room it took place (three raps). Dogs went crazy. I went to the door and went outside, but nobody was there. I did not think much about this until the day of the funeral, I was in the shower and again, between the wall and the wall and shower wall. Then I said “OK Jeff!” And I closed my eyes.
I know that Jeffrey is still here and I'm glad he is.
