It is said that the grave at the Dagshai cemetery is haunted by Mary, a woman haunting this place after people began to break away from the tombstone fortunately.
On the Himachal Pradesh hills, the city of Dagshai is a testimony of time, witnessing history. The name of the city means a royal stain and comes from when the rulers of Mogołów sent criminals as a death penalty. At that time, a prison was built to accommodate criminals, and the prison at that time was known as Himachala's black water.
Located just 11 kilometers from Solana and sitting at over 5,600 meters above sea level, the venerable canton town, although devoid of typical tourist charm, contains the history of the spirit, which is said to be persecuted by the Dagshai cemetery.
The mystery of Dagshai haunting
Dagshai mainly includes army canton, various military structures, a handful of schools, local residences and a cemetery. This cemetery, steeped in history and mystery, has gained the most attention, both positive and negative.
Although Dagshai has a notoriously haunted cemetery with many stories, most of the locals talk about a lonely spirit haunting the cemetery known as Mary MEM Ki Qabr by residents.
A story about love and tragedy
It is believed that the Dagshai cemetery reached the British colonial era in India, when the British turned Dagshai into an army canton.
History says that the British named Major George Weston, lived in Dagshai with his wife, Mary Rebecca Weston. While Major Weston practiced medicine, his wife served as a nursing assistant. After years of childless childlessness, the couple changed when they met a wandering Muslim saint who gave them a blessed amulet. After this divine intervention, Mary, George's wife, got pregnant with her first child.
However, Fate gave them a cruel hand because Mary tragically died in the eighth month of pregnancy on December 10 in 1909. Sad and deeply in love, George Weston raised a wonderful grave in memory of his beloved wife and their unborn child at the Dagshai cemetery. The excellent marble used for this moving structure was imported from England.
Mary's wrong heritage
Over the years, stories about the grave of Mary with wonderful powers began to circulate in the region. The erroneous conviction rooted: If a pregnant woman took a piece of marble from the grave of Mary, she would be blessed with a male child. Therefore, countless guests came to the resting place of Mary, stupidly trying to distort their stunning monument to avoid daughter's delivery. It is a relentless carving on a grave near the ruin of a marble grave. The local woman even began to sell marble shipping elements.
Many visiting the Dagshai cemetery claimed that she was a witness to the spectral revelation of Mary herself, seeing through the area near her grave. Some suggest that the spirit of Mary could intervene to protect her and her unborn child, preventing him from further desecration and pulling unwanted guests.
Mary's heritage protection at the Dagshai cemetery
Since then, residents have taken their own hands and began to restore a broken grave and a desecrated statue. He got a protective cage over him, and inside the grave he was set back to how it was first made. Perhaps this will facilitate to stop the visit of Mary herself?
