AND I recently read an article on this site about sleep paralysis and I remembered a story that happened to me quite recently. I've never experienced sleep paralysis, but I completely understood what it was and what happens to a person when it happens, so when it happened, I wasn't as scared as some people might be without prior knowledge.

Before going to bed I did my usual meditation as it kills time and helps me fall asleep until at some point in the night I woke up. Now I usually wake up about 4-5 times a night and need water or a drink. I don't know why, but this has been happening for years. It doesn't bother me too much because that's the only reason I drink at bedside. That one night I woke up and didn't feel thirsty, in fact I didn't feel anything at all. I quickly realized that I couldn't move any part of my body at all. I remember feeling a lot of energy inside me, trying to get it out. Then I felt something touch my ankle. It was very noticeable because I couldn't feel any part of my body at all. But I felt something frosty poke my ankle, like a finger or something. Needless to say, I used all the strength I had and pushed my arm forward and was completely rejuvenated. This entire ordeal only lasted about 12 seconds, which is very miniature compared to what I've heard about previous experiences with sleep paralysis. I think this can be attributed to my meditation and ability not to panic when I experience this strange dream state.

After experiencing this, I can say it's truly terrifying what happened to me. You can leave a comment about what you think.

Good luck,

Jim
