From 1975 to 1991, Ben Rich was director of Lockheed's Skunk Works, a division responsible for the development of several technologically advanced aircraft, including the U-2, SR-17 Blackbird, F-117 Nighthawk stealth bomber, and F-22 Raptor.
While presenting on the infamous Skunk Works show, Rich made some unusual comments that left many in the audience scratching their heads.
During the presentation, Rich mentioned more than once that more undisclosed, top-secret advanced technologies have been developed since the introduction of the F-117. Of course, Rich couldn't go into details.
Jan Harzan, director of the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), attended a lecture in March 1993 at the University of California, Los Angeles, along with fellow UCLA engineering graduate and UFO enthusiast Tom Keller.
Keller, an aerospace engineer who worked as a computer systems analyst at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, he wrote about it in the May 2010 issue of “MUFON UFO Journal”, and Harzan shared his story in an interview for Web Talk Radio Network in January 2012 and other with Alejando Rojas of Open Minds UFO News and Investigations in July 2013
Jan Harzan said:
“He made me understand that there were a lot of other things going on that he couldn't talk about. He ended his speech with a black disk launched into space and the words: “Now we have the technology to take ET home.”
Harzan says that after the lecture ended, several people stayed to ask questions. Some wanted to learn more about the “take ET home” technology.
Several in attendance felt that Rich's final comment implied that aliens had visited Earth, could possibly still be here, and that we had the technology to allow them to traverse the vast expanses of space.
From there, the conversation got even weirder. As Rich was leaving the stage, the engineer asked him if he thought it was theoretically possible to travel to the stars. The rich man replied:
“We found the error in the equations and now we know how to travel to the stars, and it won't take us a lifetime to do it.”
Another engineer immediately asked, “I'm really interested in the drive you're talking about that allows us to reach the stars. Can you tell me how it works?”
Rich stopped, looked at him, then asked, “Do you know how ESP works?”
The engineer replied, “I don't know, all points in space and time are connected?”
To which Rich replied, “That's how it works.”
Rich revealed additional information regarding Skunk Works and the United States government's possession of alien technology. Below is a fuller transcript of Ben Rich's speech:
“We already have the means to travel between the stars, but these technologies are locked away in black designs and it would take an act of God to ever bring them to light for the benefit of humanity. Anything you can imagine, we already know how to do it. We now have the technology to take ET home. No, it won't take someone's life to do it. There is an error in the equations. We know what it is. We now have the ability to travel to the stars. First, it is important to understand that we cannot reach the stars using chemical propulsion. Secondly, we need to develop new propulsion technology. We need to find out where Einstein went wrong.”
There is also information circulating that Dr. Ben R. Rich also confirmed the following.
There are two types of UFOs – those that we build and those that “they” build. We have learned from both finding failures and actual “adds.” The government knew and until 1969 took an energetic part in administering this information. After Nixon's “purge” in 1969, administration of the private sector was handled by an international board of directors.
Nearly all “biomorphic” aviation designs were inspired by the Roswell spacecraft, from Kelly's SR-71 Blackbird to today's drones, UCAVs, and spacecraft.
Ben Rich was of the opinion that this should not be told to the public [about UFOs and extraterrestrials] . He believed they couldn't handle the truth – ever. Only in the final months of his decline did he begin to feel that the “international board of corporate directors” dealing with the “Subject” might pose a greater problem to the personal liberties of citizens under the United States Constitution than the presence of foreign entities of the guests themselves.”
Additionally, another Lockheed design engineer, Don Phillips, confirmed much of what Rich said. Phillips he said reporters:
“These UFOs were huge and they would just stop and do a 60-degree, 45-degree, 10-degree turn and then immediately reverse it.” During the Apollo landing, Neil Armstrong says, “They're here. They are there and looking at the size of these ships, it's obvious they don't like us here.” When I worked at Skunk Works with Kelly Johnson, we signed an agreement with the government to remain still on this matter.
Anti-gravity research was underway. We know that several ships captured in 1947 were found in Roswell. They were real. And yes, we did get some technology from them. And actually, we really took advantage of it. We knew each other from what we call the unseen industry. We can call it black, deep black or hidden.
What knowledge I have of these technologies comes from individuals who have been captured here. I didn't see the ship or the bodies, but I certainly know some people who did. There was no doubt that there were beings from outside the planet.
And if the aliens were hostile, they could have destroyed us with their weapons long ago. We have these devices that are hand-held scanners that scan the body and determine what condition it is in. We can also treat from the same scanner.
I can say personally that we worked on them. We also have those that can diagnose and treat cancer. One of my goals when I founded my technology corporation in 1998 was to introduce technologies that could immaculate the air and facilitate get rid of toxins, as well as facilitate reduce the need for huge amounts of fossil fuels. Yes, it's time. I can tell you personally that it has already started.”
