Is it impossible to reincarnate in the past?

There are dimensional time lines so yes — but you will NOT! One reason is because you are stuck with your Soul Mates and wheels of Karma…so you go where they go!

You can be helped to go into the Past with ascended master but I believe for only brief periods. These can be extended for greater longer periods when you get accustomed to that time line.

In heaven (as we call it here)there is no linear time and your experiencimg everything how it was in the beginning — that is really strenuous to explain into detail.
