She claimed they took her to a cave where she claimed there was a huge garden full of these beings, where they spoke to her for a brief while before she returned home. To her surprise, she discovered that three decades had passed in those fleeting moments.

Filled with fear, the workers fled and reported the encounter to the Civil Guard. However, upon returning to the place where they had seen the creatures, there was no trace of them.
We have no documents from the Civil Guard to confirm this story, but the mine galleries were abandoned when the walls collapsed in a landslide and filled with water.
