Evidence of a lost civilization?

In addition to mounting evidence suggesting that megalithic sites around the world are much older than traditionally believed, a discovery in the remote Shoria Mountains of southern Siberia has challenged our understanding of old human history. Hidden for millennia, the site offers clues that civilizations far older than recorded history may have once existed.

In the wild, pristine Shoria Mountains, a remote region far removed from state-of-the-art civilization, scientists have stumbled upon a mysterious discovery – massive blocks of granite, precisely cut and arranged in a way that defies natural geological processes.

These are not basic rock formations shaped by nature. The stones are separate from the surrounding terrain, uniform in shape, with flat sides and 90-degree angles. Some are even stacked on top of each other, creating what can only be interpreted as structures.

In the past few years, this little-known corner of Russia has gained attention for these enormous rocks. Some are single, others are stacked on top of each other, suggesting the remains of an old and sophisticated civilization.

Geological mapping of the ridges and summit of Mount Kuylyum by geologists in the slow 1990s identified these rock formations as denuded prepared ridges, which are ridges formed by natural and differential erosion of the local bedrock. But not everyone agrees.

In 2013, a team of 19 researchers led by Georgy Sidorovset out on an expedition to explore this mysterious region. Their destination was Gornaya Shoria, a mountain rising 3,600 feet above sea level in a remote part of southern Siberia.

Intrigued by reports of strange megalithic structures, the team ventured into the isolated wilderness. What they found was nothing tiny of extraordinary: massive, precisely hewn stones that appeared to be evidence of an old civilization much older than previously thought.

The blocks they discovered were unlike anything seen before—super-megaliths estimated to be about 100,000 years aged. Made of granite, these stones were characterized by flat surfaces, keen right angles, and precise geometric shapes, features that are arduous to explain by natural processes.

The most astonishing detail was their size: some of the stones weighed more than 3,000 tons, making them the largest megaliths ever discovered. They were carefully stacked, reaching heights of 140 feet, and appeared to have been deliberately placed.

This raises profound questions: How could such massive stones have been carved, transported and deposited in this remote, rugged landscape? Could they be the remains of a technologically advanced civilization, long forgotten?

While some geologists suggest the stones may be natural formations, visual evidence strongly supports the idea that they were man-made. The precision with which these giant stones were shaped and arranged indicates the operate of advanced technology, especially considering the hardness of the granite.

Georgy Sidorov himself theorized that there was once a massive structure on this site, probably a vast building constructed from these megalithic blocks. Over time, it could have been destroyed by a catastrophic event, such as a powerful explosion or seismic activity.

The team found evidence of high-temperature impacts, including burnt rocks and fragments of masonry thrown more than 500 metres from their original locations.

Some rocks in the area also exhibited negative magnetic fields, causing compass needles to point away from the stones – a phenomenon that defies conventional explanation.

The discovery joins a growing list of megalithic sites in Russia and the former Soviet Union. For centuries, the ruins were neglected, only gaining attention in recent decades.

Other sites around the world, such as the pyramids in Bosnia (which are estimated to be around 30,000 years aged) and the old pyramids in China, provide further evidence of a lost global civilization.

One of the most remarkable discoveries at Gornaya Shoria was a deep, narrow vertical shaft discovered during the expedition. Lined with parallel stone slabs, the shaft appeared to be man-made, its walls polished and straight.

The shaft descended to a depth of about 130 feet before opening into a expansive underground hall 118 feet high, with megalithic blocks carefully fitted together with minimal gaps. Some of these stones even resembled columns, reinforcing the idea that this was a deliberately designed structure.

The total length of the shaft was over 350 feet, and its precision rivaled the sophisticated techniques used at other old sites, such as the Great Pyramid of Giza.

There is much speculation about the original purpose of the shaft, with some researchers suggesting it may have had an advanced technological function, possibly as part of a larger, undiscovered structure.

Others theorize that it was part of an old factory, a seismological device, or even an energy generator. The precision with which the massive 200-ton blocks of stone were assembled underground raises even more questions about the technology that might have been available to these old people.

As researchers continue to investigate, the mystery deepens. Could these structures be part of a lost pyramid that once stood on the mountain’s surface? What old forces or forgotten civilizations left their mark on this remote corner of the world?

Since Gornaya Shoria was discovered not so long ago, we still have narrow information about the site. However, the available evidence points to an old and technologically advanced civilization that predates recorded history.
