Archaeologists previously found 16 gold languages in Oxyrhynchus. It was believed that gold was the “body of the gods”, so the old Egyptians placed such languages in the mummy to lend a hand the deceased speak in the afterlife.

Salima Ikram, a professor of Egyptology at the American University of Cairo, does not rule out that the golden languages “could be fashionable to the home of balm in the area.”

During excavations, archaeologists also found 29 amulets. Some of them have the shape of Scarab beetles, as well as Egyptian deities, including Horus, Thoth and ISIS. Some of them have together as a few deities.

Excavations were also discovered by wall images, including one depicting the owner of the tomb, named “Wen-Nefer”, accompanied by several Egyptian deities.

Another ceiling picture shows the nut of the goddess of heaven surrounded by stars. There is also a picture of a boat with several deities.

When it comes to paintings, their quality is really great, and the freshness of colors is simply amazing, “Francesco Tiradritti, an Egyptologist from the University of D'Annunzio, Chieti-Pescar, Italy, commented.
